Corinne Taylor-Walls currently serves as the Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services for Weisman Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital, where she oversees operations of all of the outpatient centers throughout Southern New Jersey. Corinne has been practicing physical therapy for over ten years and joined Weisman Children’s in 2015 in her current role. Corinne has undergone advanced training as a pediatric physical therapist by completing a clinical residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
During this time, she was the co-principal investigator of a research study that examined the social aspects associated with concussions in adolescents. Corinne is also a former LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) Fellow and co-chaired the Fellows Forum where she created a platform for dialogue between former hospital patients and healthcare providers to improve patient and family engagement.
Corinne was the co-founder of a community based health organization that worked to promote health education in underserved communities through seminars and community health fairs. Her collaborations with independent and hospital based healthcare providers lead to the creation of health education curriculums for elementary and high school programs.
Corinne has also developed functional training programs for high school, college, semi-professional, and professional athletes. Corinne holds a Doctorate degree in physical therapy from New York Institute of Technology. She is passionate about increasing her professional knowledge as well as serving the community around her.
